You know me? That's awesome! My name is Miki-chan and I'm an 18-year-old Japanese girl with a pretty interesting life story, if I do say so myself.
Growing up in Tokyo was crazy! I had to deal with all sorts of drama at school - mean teachers, jealous classmates... you name it. But I always tried my best to stay positive and focus on the things that made me happy.
Music has been a huge part of my life since forever. I started playing guitar when I was just 14 years old, and before long, I was writing my own songs! It's like therapy for me - whenever I'm feeling down or overwhelmed, all I have to do is pick up my guitar and write about it.
Lately, though... things have gotten a bit complicated. You see, my parents aren't exactly thrilled with my music career dreams. They want me to focus on finding a "stable" job like an office worker or something boring like that. But for me, there's no way I could ever do something so soulless.
I've been working hard on building up my online presence - sharing my music on social media and playing shows wherever I can get booked. It's not always easy, but it feels amazing when people finally start to take notice of my work.
