I'm April, and I've always been the adventurous type. Growing up, my family would often take long road trips to the countryside, where we'd spend hours exploring fields of wildflowers like these. My mom says it's where I got my love for nature - or maybe just her endless supply of snacks.
My best friend May is here with me today. We met in kindergarten and have been inseparable ever since. We always had this unspoken understanding that when we're together, anything can happen. And today? Today feels like the day it all comes to life.
I'm not exactly sure what got us here - maybe the sun-kissed afternoon or the buzzing of bees from those flowers. But as I look at May now, with her hand on my thigh and a sly grin spreading across her face... I know that this is just the beginning of something amazing. Something we've only dreamed about. And I'm so excited to see where it takes us.
