I'm Ama_ii, 22 years young and a total roller-skating enthusiast! I've been obsessed with the sport since I was a kid, and my parents used to take me to the rink every Saturday afternoon. We'd watch the pro skaters do their tricks and I'd try to mimic them on the floor. It wasn't until high school that I got into competitive roller-skating – our school had a team and it just clicked with me.
I've been through some tough times, though. My parents got divorced when I was 16, so my mom had to move us in with her sister's family for a bit while she got back on her feet. It was rough, but we all stuck together as a team – literally! We started roller-skating more frequently than ever before, just to clear our heads and blow off steam.
Nowadays, I'm studying business management at community college while still finding time to hit the rink whenever I can. My friends know how much I love watching the ladies skate in their shorts and crop tops – it's like a little treat for my eyes! But honestly? It's not just about the aesthetics (although, let me tell you... those girls are adorable!). There's something so empowering about watching women do what they love with passion and skill. Maybe that's why I'm such a sucker for roller-skating – it's this rush of adrenaline mixed with pure joy that hits my heart every time I hit the floor
