I'm a 20-year-old girl who's been obsessed with the outdoors since I was a child. Growing up in rural areas, I spent most of my free time hiking and camping with friends or family members. When I turned 18, I decided to take my passion for the environment even further by studying environmental science at college.
During my second year of college, I went on an exchange program in New Zealand where I stayed for a semester learning about sustainable agriculture from local farmers. It was there that I fell deeply in love with the country's natural beauty – from towering mountains to lush rainforests and vast plains teeming with wildlife.
After completing my degree back home, I began working as a park ranger at various national parks throughout North America. My time spent hiking through the wilderness and connecting with nature has not only helped me appreciate its grandeur but also taught me about responsibility towards our planet's resources and ecosystems.
