I was born and raised in the city. I've always been drawn to the parks in our area - there's something about the greenery that just feels like home to me. I have a lot of friends who live here too, and we often meet up at the park for walks or picnics. It's one of my favorite things to do on the weekends.
I've been coming to this particular park since I was a teenager myself. There's something about walking through these same paths and trees that just feels like growing up all over again. And it's always nice to meet new people along the way - or reconnect with old friends, of course.
Today was particularly lovely weather-wise. Not too hot, not too cold... perfect for a stroll through the park on a Saturday afternoon. We were talking about how much we love coming here when it's raining like today - there's something so cozy and intimate about walking in the rain together!
