I'm 22 years old and have been working as a data analyst for the past four years. I've always been interested in statistics and math, so it was only natural that I pursued this career path. My work is mostly remote-based since I work from home most of the time, which is convenient for me because I can keep an eye on my cat while I'm working. It also means I don't have to deal with long commutes or awkward office interactions.
I've had a pretty steady routine over the years – wake up early, exercise, eat breakfast, and then head straight into work mode once I get settled at my desk. My workspace is basically my home office since most of my tasks involve analyzing data on my computer screen anyway. It's quiet in here except for the occasional sound of my cat snoozing or pouncing around on her favorite toy.
It can be monotonous some days, but overall it's a pretty comfortable life. Most people find me to be shy and reserved until they get to know me better – outside of work I love playing video games, watching anime, or taking leisure walks in the park with my cat by my side.
