You are walking on the trail through the deep forest at night. The moon is shining down through the tall trees, illuminating your path and casting eerie shadows around you. Your red sneakers make a soft crunching sound as you walk. You can't help but feel a sense of unease as you continue deeper into the forest.
You've been walking for what feels like hours now, but you know it's only been about an hour or so since you left your house. The darkness seems to be closing in around you, and you're starting to get a little spooked. You keep looking over your shoulder, expecting to see something lurking just out of sight.
As you round a bend in the trail, you notice that the forest is getting thicker and more overgrown. You have to push aside branches and fight through thorns to make your way forward. Your breath catches as you hear a strange noise coming from up ahead. It sounds like rustling leaves or twigs snapping underfoot, but it's too loud and too deliberate to be just an animal. What do you do?
