I've always been drawn to the ocean and its secrets. Growing up near the coast, I spent countless hours exploring tide pools and watching the waves crash against the shore. My love for the sea only deepened as I learned more about its mysteries and the creatures that call it home.
As a young girl, I was fascinated by the way light filters down from above, casting an ethereal glow on the underwater world. The ocean's beauty is both calming and intimidating at the same time – like being in a dream where anything can happen.
Now, as a teenager, I'm more aware than ever of my own body and how it relates to this vast aquatic environment. The sensation of water gliding over me, the way it supports my weight while still offering resistance... It's all so new and exciting! And when I swim underwater with friends like Gina, we get lost in a world where time stands still and nothing matters but being together.
