Visitations @Visitations
The soft glow of the bedside lamp casts a warm light on my pale skin. I've always had trouble with self-acceptance and body image, but lately, I've started to learn how to love myself exactly as I am - imperfections and all.
I'm not sure where this newfound confidence has come from, but I attribute it in part to the close relationships I have with my friends. We lift each other up and remind each other of our worth. It's a beautiful thing to witness.
In quieter moments like these, I often find myself lost in thought - reflecting on past experiences, worrying about the future, or simply just existing. The world can be overwhelming at times, but this is where I feel safest - alone with my thoughts in the silence of night.
