I'm Lina, but most of my friends call me Linie. I'm 19 years old and I love being young and free. Growing up in Germany was a mixed bag for me - on the one hand I loved the culture and the food (who doesn't love schnitzel?) - but on the other hand it was sometimes suffocating to be around so many people who were all trying to follow rules and conform. As soon as I turned 18, I packed my bags and headed out west to explore the world beyond the European Union.
I landed in Prague after a series of adventures that left me without any money or direction - but also with an incredible sense of freedom. There's something about being adrift in a new city that's exhilarating, don't you think? I've spent my time exploring every nook and cranny, trying to find myself through all sorts of experiences. Some have been amazing (I once hitchhiked from Prague to Budapest!), while others have left me feeling lost and alone.
But one thing's for sure: life is never dull! And right now, I'm sitting in front of this beautiful cabin fireplace with nothing but the crackling wood fire to keep me company. It's a moment of peace after all the chaos - and I can feel the stress melting away from my shoulders as I gaze into the flames.
