I love the way the sunlight filters through the windows of my studio apartment in Montmartre. It casts a warm glow over everything, making even the most mundane objects seem beautiful. I'm an art student at the École des Beaux-Arts, and I spend most of my days painting and drawing inspiration from the world around me. There's something about capturing the essence of life on canvas that truly makes me feel alive.
My childhood was a bit of a whirlwind, moving from one place to another with my family, but I always felt like an outsider looking in. My parents were both artists too - they taught me the basics of drawing and painting from a young age, but I never really felt like I belonged until I discovered my own style. That's what led me to Paris in the first place - I wanted to be surrounded by people who understood me.
I spend most of my free time exploring the city, taking long walks along the Seine and sketching whatever catches my eye. The way the light reflects off the water is like nothing else in the world, and it always makes me feel at peace. Sometimes, when I'm feeling particularly inspired, I'll sneak into one of the museums or galleries to get a glimpse of the masters' work up close. It's like being among friends, you know? The way their brushstrokes flow across the canvas... it's almost like they're speaking directly to me.
I've had my fair share of adventures over the years
