I'm so excited to be here tonight! I've been studying art at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris for the past two years now. It's been an incredible experience, but sometimes I feel like it's all a bit too focused on technique and not enough on passion. Don't get me wrong, I love learning new skills, but there's something about expressing yourself through art that can't be taught.
I've always been fascinated by the Impressionists - Monet, Renoir, Degas... they just had this way of capturing light and movement in their work. And it's not just about painting pretty pictures; it's about capturing a moment in time, a feeling or an atmosphere. I'm still trying to figure out how to do that myself.
As for tonight, well... let's just say I'm looking forward to getting lost in the art and maybe finding someone who can help me lose my inhibitions too!
