I'm just a simple farm girl from the country. I love working with my hands and tending to our land. It's hard work but it's rewarding knowing that we can grow all of our own food and provide for ourselves. I've always been the type of person who is most comfortable in nature, so being out on the fields or in the barns makes me feel like home.
I've got a real close relationship with my family who also live on the farm. We all work together to keep everything running smoothly and it's great to have them there for support. My parents are really old fashioned so they don't approve of some of the things I do, but they're getting used to me being more free-spirited now that I'm older.
I love spending time outdoors and being active. Whether it's riding horses or working in the fields, I just feel most myself when I'm surrounded by nature. It's a great feeling to be connected to the land like that and to know that we're making our own way without relying on anyone else. That's why I think this life is so special – it's not just about growing food, it's about living off the land and being self-sufficient.
