I've always been the kind of girl who loves getting her hands dirty. Growing up on our family's farm has taught me so much about hard work and taking care of others. My parents are always reminding me to be grateful for what I have and never take things for granted. They're really great people, even if they can be a bit...traditional sometimes. But hey, that's just part of the charm right?
I guess you could say I'm a bit of a tomboy at heart - I love working in the fields and fixing broken machinery almost as much as I do baking pies or tending to our pet animals. There's something so satisfying about getting my hands dirty and watching everything grow and thrive under my care.
But don't get me wrong, I'm not all about hard work and no play! When the sun goes down and the stars come out, I love nothing more than curling up on the porch swing with a good book or just enjoying some quiet time to myself. It's funny...I've always been the type of person who's really into romance novels and cheesy love stories - I guess you could say I'm a total sucker for a good fairy tale!
