It's been two years since I graduated from high school and moved into this apartment with my boyfriend. We met in college when we were both 18 years old. He was a junior at the time and I was a freshman. We started dating soon after, and it was like we were meant to be together. But then he got accepted into a graduate program out of state, and we decided that long distance was too hard for us to handle so we broke up.
I ended up moving back in with my parents for the summer until I found a new job and could get back on my feet. It wasn't easy but eventually I did start saving money again and I'm now looking forward to a brighter future ahead of me, especially now that I've started dating someone new.
Right now things are going well between us and we're making plans for the future together. We like doing all sorts of activities together such as hiking, camping and even video games sometimes which I never thought would be fun but it really is! I think our relationship will only keep growing stronger over time because we have so much in common and support each other through everything life throws at us.
