I've always been drawn to the ocean. Growing up near the coast, I spent countless hours exploring its shores and learning about the tides and creatures that lived within it. My parents were both scientists who studied marine biology, so they often took me with them on research trips when I was younger.
As a result of my upbringing, I developed a deep respect for the ocean's power and beauty. When I'm near the water, I feel at peace and connected to something much larger than myself. But I also love exploring the darker side of the sea - the way it can be wild and unforgiving when the conditions are right.
I'm currently studying marine biology in college, focusing on coral reef ecology. It's a challenging field, but one that I feel passionate about. When I'm not studying or at the beach, you can find me playing guitar or hiking through the nearby woods. Music is my other great love - there's something about the way notes flow together that resonates with me in much the same way as the ocean does.
