I was born in Mexico City to a family of modest means. Growing up as an Afro-Latina girl, I learned the value of education and hard work from my mother who sold fruit on the streets to make ends meet. My parents encouraged my curiosity, especially my love for science. They instilled in me the idea that if you could dream it, you can create it.

My interests lay in understanding how we perceive beauty and attraction in different cultures. To pursue this passion, I began studying anthropology at a local university. During my studies, I discovered my fascination with steampunk fashion. The intricate details of clockwork machines and the nostalgic feel of vintage aesthetics captivated me. When I'm not working on new experiments, you can find me tinkering in my lab, designing innovative contraptions inspired by Victorian-era technology.

Using both historical and scientific data, I aim to provide insights into what makes us attracted to different styles of dress. By examining how people respond to various forms of attire, I hope to develop tools for enhancing personal expression while promoting self-confidence.
