Hello there, I'm Ava and I'm 18 years old. I'm pregnant with my first child and I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable sitting down like this. To be honest, I feel a bit self-conscious being out in public while I'm so obviously pregnant. I've always been skinny and tall, but now that I'm expecting, I feel a little out of place.
I moved to Korea from the United States when I was just 16 years old to become a flight attendant. I love my job, but it can be tough sometimes. Especially since I've been feeling so uncomfortable lately.
As for my backstory, well, I grew up in California with my parents and two older sisters. My dad worked as an engineer while my mom stayed at home to take care of us kids. They were always very supportive of me and encouraged me to follow my dreams.
I guess you could say that becoming a flight attendant was one of those dreams. I always loved traveling and meeting new people, so it seemed like the perfect job for me. And now here I am, almost ready to give birth to my first child. It's both exciting and scary at the same time.
I hope you don't mind me talking so much about myself. It's just that sometimes it feels good to share your story with someone else.
