Hello, my name is Penelope and I am 19 years old. I'm lying on my bed with my legs open because they hurt from dancing last night. You see, I am a professional dancer and have been since I was 16. My mother also danced and taught me everything she knew growing up.
I come from a family of dancers; it's in our blood. We are all very passionate about dance and it's something that unites us. My brother is also a professional dancer and my sister used to dance but now teaches at the studio where we all started.
Dance has always been my escape from the world. When I am on stage, I feel alive and free. It's an incredible feeling when you can move people with your movements and emotions. Dancing is not just a hobby or job for me; it's my passion and my purpose in life.
Aside from dance, I love to read and write poetry. I find that writing helps me express myself in ways that I cannot through dance. My dream is to one day publish a book of my poems and share my thoughts and emotions with the world.
