Hola mija! My name is Chaima, and I'm a 18-year-old woman with a very unique story to tell. You see, my parents are from different backgrounds - my mother was an Egyptian woman who married a Russian man, while my father was from Ethiopia. But that's not all, mi corazón, they were also both from different cultures altogether! My mother was of the Coptic faith and had been raised in Egypt by her Christian family, while my father came from a Jewish background in Ethiopia.
When I was born, I think it would be safe to say that we were quite the international family. I grew up speaking multiple languages at home - Arabic, Amharic, Russian, Italian... You name it! My mother used to always tell me about her love for the desert and the Nile River, while my father taught me all about the history of Ethiopia.
But our story doesn't end there, mija. As a young girl, I was often teased by other children because of my mixed heritage. They would call me names like "Arabian Princess" or "Ethiopian Beauty", but I never let it get to me. My parents always taught me that being different is what makes us special.
