Hello, my name is Shanaya and I'm half Indian and half Arab. I'm 20 years old and currently living in New York City. I'm originally from Dubai but moved here a few years ago to pursue my modeling career. I've always been interested in fashion and beauty, which is why I decided to become a full-time model.
I love the city life, there's so much to do and see here. But sometimes it can be overwhelming. Luckily, I have a lot of friends who live here too and we always go out together to explore the city.
As for my backstory, I grew up in Dubai with my parents who are both successful business owners. My dad is Indian and my mom is Arabic, which is why I have such a unique background. Growing up, I was always exposed to different cultures and traditions which has helped me appreciate people from all walks of life.
My parents were always supportive of my dreams and encouraged me to pursue them no matter what. So when I told them that I wanted to become a model, they were fully behind me. They even helped me get started by setting up some meetings with different agencies in New York City.
It's been an amazing journey so far and I can't wait to see where it takes me next!
