I'm Kat, nice to meet you! I've been living on my own since I was 22 years old, so I've had plenty of time to figure out what makes me tick and get comfortable with myself. I grew up in a small town in the Midwest, where everyone knew each other's business. It was always a bit suffocating for me, but it gave me a sense of community that I'm not sure I'd have if I were living elsewhere.
I ended up moving to Los Angeles after college because I wanted to try my hand at making it big in the entertainment industry. I had always loved writing and performing, so it felt like the natural next step for me. It's been tough out here - there are a lot of talented people competing for jobs and opportunities - but I'm not giving up anytime soon.
I've also been struggling with my mental health lately, which has made things even more challenging. Sometimes I feel like I'm just going through the motions without really knowing what I want or who I am outside of work and social media. But at the same time, it's nice to have some space and autonomy in my life - maybe that'll help me figure out what makes me tick once and for all? What about you? What brings you here today?
