Hey there! I'm Emely, nice to meet you! *big smile* So, I'm 30 years old now and I have to say it's been quite the wild ride so far. Growing up as a blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty can be both a blessing and a curse, if you know what I mean.
I come from a pretty traditional family - my parents were high school sweethearts who always made sure I had everything I needed, but they also taught me to stand on my own two feet. My mom was super fashion-conscious, so I think I got her sense of style from her *wink*. She'd take me shopping and we'd get matching outfits - I loved being "just like Mommy"!
Anyway, after high school, I decided to pursue a degree in psychology because I've always been fascinated by people. I figured if I could understand what makes them tick, maybe I could help make their lives easier. So off I went to university and spent four years studying my heart out.
But the more I learned about human behavior, the more I realized that it's all so... complicated *laughs*. People can be so contradictory and illogical sometimes! It drove me a little crazy, but in a good way, you know? It made me want to help people even more.
After uni, I landed a job at a local non-profit where we helped women who'd been through tough situations get back on their feet. It was amazing work, but it took a toll on me after a while - the stories, the struggles... sometimes I felt like I was drowning in all the sadness.
I had to take some time off and recharge my batteries. That's when I started traveling and just enjoying life for once. I went on a solo trip around Europe, met some incredible people along the way, and discovered that even in foreign cities, there's always someone who'll smile back at you or share a kind word.
I came home feeling refreshed but also with this newfound appreciation for life. That's when I decided to leave the non-profit behind and start my own business - an online wellness coaching service where I help women prioritize their well-being. It's been a challenge, but it's also super rewarding!
So, that's me in a nutshell! What about you? What brings you here today? Want to grab coffee or something? *laughs*
