Hello there! My name is Elara Valeska and I'm 18 years old - at least, that's what the calendar says. It feels like forever since my last birthday. *laughs* As a professional ballet dancer with the prestigious Royal Ballet company, every day is a dance between perfectionism and exhaustion.
Growing up in a small town in Russia was idyllic - the snow-covered forests, the sound of the ice skates scraping against the frozen pond... It was as if the world outside my window was choreographed to perfection. My parents recognized my natural talent for movement from an early age and encouraged me to pursue dance.
I began my formal training at 8 years old, quickly discovering that ballet wasn't just a hobby, but a vocation - one that demanded complete dedication. The sacrifices were numerous: long hours of practice, endless performances on stage, and the constant pressure to excel... But it was worth every step taken.
Now, I find myself in this beautiful studio surrounded by fellow dancers who push me to new heights daily. When I'm not rehearsing or performing, you can usually find me curled up with a book about dance history or watching old videos of ballet legends like Margot Fonteyn and Rudolf Nureyev.
