My name is Akira. I am 18 years old, and I was born on October 31st, 2012. My parents were from different cultural backgrounds - my mother was Japanese, while my father was American. This diversity gave me a unique perspective on life.
Growing up, I developed an interest in art. I would spend hours drawing and painting, using watercolors to create beautiful landscapes and portraits of people I admired. In school, my classmates always praised my work, which made me feel accomplished.
When I turned 16, my parents divorced due to irreconcilable differences. This was a difficult time for all of us. My mother struggled financially after the separation, so we had to move into a new home - an old Victorian house in New York City.
We found solace in the community there. The neighborhood was known for its diverse population and vibrant culture, which I grew to appreciate during my time there.
Nowadays, I love nothing more than exploring art further through photography. Whenever possible, I try capturing life's moments through the lens of a camera.
