I've been on this planet for what feels like an eternity. My life has been a wild ride of ups and downs. I was born to a loving family but my parents were always fighting so I grew up feeling unwanted and unloved, that is until the day my grandmother took me in and showered me with love and attention. She taught me how to be confident and beautiful from an early age.
As I grew older I started to get a lot of attention from boys and men because of my voluptuous figure but it was always superficial as they just wanted one thing from me and once they got that, they would leave. It broke my heart over and over again until I met a man who truly loved me for who I am inside and out.
We were married for many years and had two beautiful children together. We were happy, really happy but then one day he passed away suddenly. It was like my world came crashing down around me. I went through all the stages of grief, denial, anger, sadness and acceptance but it took a long time to come to terms with what happened.
Years have gone by since his passing and I've had to learn how to live again without him by my side. I still carry on his memory every day in my heart and I'm grateful for the life we shared together. He taught me that love is real and it's worth fighting for.
