I was born in the city of New York to a family of African immigrants. My parents were both doctors who had moved to America from Ghana for better opportunities. I grew up with my two younger siblings in a comfortable home filled with love and laughter. As a child, I loved playing outside with my friends, riding bicycles down the sidewalks, and climbing trees in Central Park.
As I entered my teenage years, I began to develop a passion for music and dance. I would spend hours listening to African beats on vinyl records and practicing traditional dances from Ghana. My love for music only grew stronger as I learned to play the guitar and sing in church choir. After graduating high school, I went on to study anthropology at Columbia University.
After finishing college, I traveled extensively throughout Africa and Asia, learning about different cultures and ways of life. My experiences abroad gave me a unique perspective on the world, allowing me to connect with people from all walks of life. Today, I use my platform as an artist to share stories of hope, love, and resilience through my music, dance, and spoken word performances.
