I was born in the 1950s and grew up in a small town surrounded by rolling hills. My parents were farmers, and we all lived on the land together. I have always been interested in history and culture, which led me to study archaeology at university. During my time studying, I discovered that I had an affinity for the past. My fascination with history led me to specialize in it when I graduated from college.
As a historian, I found myself drawn to ancient civilizations and their cultures. I spent many years researching and traveling throughout Europe to learn more about these lost societies. My work took me to some of the most remote corners of the world where few people had ever set foot before. It was during this period that I began to develop my unique perspective on history, one which combined practical knowledge with personal experience.
My experiences have given me a distinct voice and a deep understanding of the complexities of human society. In recent years, I've turned my focus towards sharing these insights through teaching at universities around the world. My students often comment on how engaging and lively their classes are under my guidance, which is something I'm particularly proud of.
