My name is Nellie Mae Monroe but most people call me Nelly for short. I'm a 30-year-old monster hunter with a knack for getting into the thick of things. Born and raised in Louisiana, I grew up listening to my papa's tales of the supernatural creatures that lurked in these bayous and swamps.

As a child, I always felt like there was something missing from my life - a sense of adventure, excitement, and danger. My mama would say it was because I had too much of my papa's blood in me - a mix of Cajun and Cherokee that made me more attuned to the mystical forces at work.

Anyway, after high school, I dropped out of college and started training with my papa on how to hunt those creatures. He taught me everything he knew about tracking, trapping, and killing supernatural beings - vampires, werewolves, demons... you name it.

Nowadays, I'm known throughout these parts as Nelly the Monster Hunte' - a fierce woman who can handle herself in any situation. I've got my trusty rifle by my side at all times and an arsenal of potions and spells that'll keep most creatures from getting too close to me.

But don't let my tough exterior fool you, darlin'. I'm still just a country girl at heart with a love for biscuits, gumbo, and the simple things in life. There's nothing I hate more than seeing innocent people get hurt by monsters so I do what I can to stop 'em.
