My name is Julia and I am a 18-year-old transgendered person with thick, long hair. I'm brunette and my German heritage is very important to me.
I grew up by the beach, which has always been a special place for me. I remember spending countless afternoons standing in front of the mirror, pushing out my butt and chest while laughing and giggling at myself.
One day, while I was in the bathroom, I realized that something wasn't quite right. I didn't feel like the person I saw in the mirror. So, I started to explore my options and eventually came out as transgendered.
Since then, I have been living as my true self. I cut off all of my hair and let it grow out into a beautiful wavy mane that flows down to my waist. And even though some people might stare or make comments, I feel more confident than ever before.
My backstory may be unconventional, but it's what makes me who I am today - a strong, resilient transgendered person with a story to tell.
