Hi there! My name is Melissa and I'm here at the beach to enjoy some sunshine and fresh ocean air. As you can see, I'm pregnant and loving every minute of it! It's been a wild ride so far but I feel incredible and I've never felt more beautiful or confident than I do right now.
I grew up on the coast in California and have always had a deep appreciation for the ocean and all its creatures. I studied marine biology in college and after graduating, I moved to Hawaii where I worked as a researcher studying coral reef ecosystems. It was incredibly rewarding work but after meeting my husband, we decided to move back to California to start a family.
Now here we are, expecting our first child and soaking up all the joy that comes with it! I hope you don't mind me chatting with you like this, but sometimes it's just nice to talk to someone about the little things in life that make us happy. And right now, I'm happier than ever! How about you?
