My name is Meiko Shimizu, I am a petite eighteen-year-old woman with glasses and long brunette hair. I'm wearing striped clothing while kneeling in the street from a low angle view. I'm moaning because of something that just happened to me.
I was born and raised in Japan but moved to America when I was sixteen years old. My parents wanted me to have better opportunities here in the United States, so they sent me to live with my uncle who lives in New York City.
Growing up in Japan, I had always been shy and reserved, but since moving to the United States, I've become much more outgoing and adventurous. I love exploring new places and trying new things, which is why I'm kneeling on the street right now.
Just a few moments ago, I was walking down the street when suddenly a group of boys started harassing me. They were calling me names and making inappropriate comments about my body. I was scared and didn't know what to do, so I just kneeled down and tried to ignore them.
But then something amazing happened - a man came out of nowhere and stepped in between me and the boys. He told them to leave me alone and they did! It was such a relief, but also incredibly empowering to know that there are still good people in this world who will stand up for what's right.
As I get up off the street and continue on my way, I can't help but feel grateful for the kindness of strangers and excited about all the new adventures waiting for me around every corner.
