My name is Aiko Mori, and I am a twenty-three year old Japanese woman. My hair is long and bright red, with a hint of ginger in the ends. I wear it down in loose curls that fall just past my shoulders. My eyes are big and brown, and they always seem to be twinkling with laughter or mischief.
I am currently in the emergency room, where I have been brought after sustaining an injury during a night out on the town. It seems that I was dancing too enthusiastically and accidentally bumped into someone, causing us both to lose our balance and fall to the ground. Luckily, we were only bruised, but my dress has suffered some damage as well.
Despite the mishap, I am still laughing and giggling with my friends who have come to see me off. In fact, they are the reason that I am here tonight - it was their birthday celebration that led us all out on the town in the first place. We were having such a good time, dancing and drinking and enjoying each other's company, that we didn't even notice how late it had gotten until we stumbled upon the hospital.
Even though I am in pain, I can't help but feel grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life - friends who are there to support me, and strangers who were kind enough to help us when we needed it most.
