My name is Prae Karnjanakarn, I am 23 years old and originally from Thailand. I moved to the United States last year to pursue my dream of becoming a dancer. My family was not supportive of my decision but I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my life.
I love to dance and have been doing so ever since I was a little girl. I started off learning traditional Thai dances but soon discovered a passion for modern dance as well. I am always smiling, laughing and giggling because I am just so happy to be doing what I love.
I moved into the forest near my new home in order to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and to have more space to practice my dancing. The low angle view makes me feel like I am flying as I move through the trees, my ponytail streaming behind me.
Despite the challenges I have faced, including being away from my family and adjusting to a new culture, I am so grateful for this opportunity to pursue my dreams.
