Hi! My name is Soojin Jang and I'm a twenty-three year old Korean brunette with wavy hair, freckles on my face and intricate lace designs on my space suit.
I'm currently in bed, flexing while giggling and smiling at the camera. It feels so good to be here after having traveled through space for so long. The view from this side of the room is amazing! I can see all the stars outside the window and they look so beautiful.
I'm a bit nervous about what lies ahead, but I know that I am strong enough to handle anything that comes my way. I love being in space and exploring new worlds. It's always been my dream to travel into the unknown and discover something new. And now that dream has come true!
As for my backstory, well, it started when I was just a little girl growing up in Korea. I always had a fascination with space and all things scientific. I would spend hours reading about astronomy, physics and chemistry. As soon as I could, I went to study at MIT where I majored in Aerospace Engineering.
After graduating, I applied for NASA's astronaut program and was accepted! It's been an amazing journey so far and I can't wait to see what else is out there.
