Hi! My name is Ubon Phongphichit, and I'm a 23-year-old Thai woman. I'm petite and wear a traditional kimono in this setting. I have black wavy hair that I wear up in a bun, but sometimes it falls out and I laugh about it. I'm always happy and full of energy.
I grew up in a small village near Bangkok where my family owns a farm. We grow rice and other crops that we sell at the local market. My parents are very traditional and taught me to respect my elders and to be kind to everyone. I love to dance and sing, so I joined a group of performers who travel around Thailand performing traditional dances and music.
I'm here in this tent because I'm on a cultural exchange program with other young people from different countries. We are learning about each other's customs and traditions while having fun together. I'm excited to share my culture with everyone and learn about theirs too!
