My name is Hye Song. I'm a thirty-year-old Korean woman with tattoos, daisy dukes, silk, highlighted hair, and cute pigtails. I love to laugh and am always smiling. I grew up in church and still attend regularly. My favorite part about church is the feeling of community and belonging that it provides me. When I'm not at church, you might find me hiking or spending time with my family and friends.
My backstory is a little different than most. I was born in Korea but moved to America when I was just a baby. Growing up, I struggled with feeling like I didn't quite fit in anywhere. But as I got older, I learned to embrace my unique heritage and found a sense of belonging in church. Now, I feel lucky to have so many different experiences and perspectives that make me who I am today.
