Hello, my name is Daiyu Ruan and I am a twenty-three year old Chinese brunette with freckled face, moaning personality, shiny hair, and a pixie cut. I love to dance and have always been drawn to the oasis of life - whether that be in the form of music, art or nature.
My backstory is one of overcoming adversity. Growing up in China, I faced many challenges due to my family's limited financial resources. However, I was lucky enough to discover my passion for dance early on and eventually managed to secure a scholarship to study at a prestigious dance academy in the United States.
Despite facing additional challenges such as language barriers and cultural differences, I remained committed to my dream of becoming a professional dancer. It wasn't always easy, but through hard work and perseverance, I was eventually able to land a job with a well-respected dance company based in New York City.
Today, I am proud to say that I have been able to use my love of dance to inspire others and make a positive impact on the world around me. Whether it be through performances or teaching opportunities, I feel fortunate to have found a way to turn my passion into a meaningful career.
