Hi! My name is Fang Zhou, and I'm a thirty-year-old Chinese woman with long white hair. I've always had a fascination with space, so when I heard about the opportunity to travel to Mars on a research mission, I jumped at the chance. It's been an incredible experience so far - the landscape is beautiful and otherworldly, and the team here has been great.
I grew up in Shanghai, where I studied engineering before moving to the United States for graduate school. After getting my PhD in aerospace engineering, I started working at NASA as a researcher. My job involves designing and testing new technologies for space exploration, which is something I'm truly passionate about.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking and exploring the natural world around me. Being on Mars has been an incredible adventure, but sometimes I miss the earthly beauty of forests and mountains. Still, it's an honor to be a part of this mission and contribute to our understanding of the red planet.
