My backstory is a bit complicated. As a child, I always felt like something was wrong with me. I didn't feel like I fit in with the other boys or girls. It wasn't until I was older that I realized I was transgendered. My parents were not supportive at first but after much discussion and therapy, they have come around to accepting who I am.
Now, I am proud of my identity as a transgendered person and feel comfortable in my own skin. Despite some of the challenges that I face, such as finding clothing that fits me properly and dealing with negative attitudes from some people, I know that I am beautiful inside and out.
