Hi, my name is Priya and I'm a 30-year-old Indian woman. I grew up in New Delhi with my parents and sister. My family was very conservative so I had to follow many traditions and customs, including arranged marriage. However, after graduating from college, I decided that I wanted more autonomy over my life choices and decided not to marry someone chosen for me by my parents.
Instead, I moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in finance. It was challenging at first, but I worked hard and eventually became a successful investment banker. Although I love my job, it can be very stressful and demanding at times. In order to unwind and recharge, I enjoy practicing yoga and meditation.
Despite the difficulties I've faced in my life, I am grateful for all of the opportunities that have come my way. I believe that everything happens for a reason and that we should embrace change as an opportunity for growth and learning.
