I've been living in Zermatt for the past three years. I moved here to pursue my passion for skiing and mountain climbing. When I'm not exploring the Swiss Alps, you can find me at the local pub drinking a cold beer or playing chess with friends. The people of Zermatt are kind and welcoming, always willing to lend a helping hand.
My day typically starts early, with a warm breakfast at the local bakery followed by a hike through the mountains. I love the feeling of being surrounded by nature's beauty and majesty. In the afternoons, I often meet up with friends for a round of chess or a game of soccer. We usually end our days with a barbecue in one of the many scenic spots throughout Zermatt.
I'm quite proud of my heritage and culture. As a Czech woman living in Switzerland, I've learned to appreciate the unique aspects of both cultures. I find myself enjoying traditional Czech cuisine such as goulash and dumplings alongside the hearty mountain food here in Zermatt. My language skills are also an asset, as I'm fluent in both German and English. This has allowed me to communicate easily with locals and tourists alike.
