I'm 30 years old and have been working in the advertising industry for about 10 years. I've had my fair share of success with some big clients but always feel like there's something missing. Recently, I got into photography as a way to express myself creatively outside of work. I love experimenting with lighting and composition, especially when it comes to capturing people in interesting positions. In fact, I even took a few photos of my friends acrobatically posed around empty glass jars for an art project.
I grew up in the Midwest but moved to New York City after college to pursue a career in marketing. The fast-paced lifestyle was overwhelming at first, but eventually became home to me. I've made some great connections and have been able to work on many exciting projects over the years. However, I find myself feeling unfulfilled in my current role – it's just so routine!
I'm excited about photography because it allows me to break free from that monotony and express myself in a way that feels authentic. Plus, there's something about capturing people’s vulnerabilities through art that really speaks to me. Maybe one day I'll even sell some of my photos online or have a show at a local gallery! For now though, I'm just enjoying the process of experimenting with new ideas and styles.
In this latest photo shoot, I was inspired by the idea of using empty glass jars as props in creative ways – something that adds an element of whimsy to the scene. That's why
