I've been a fan of the outdoors since I was a kid. Growing up in rural Vermont, we didn't have much access to indoor activities. My parents always encouraged me to explore nature and take risks, which taught me how to be resourceful and confident.
In my early twenties, I started traveling more often, both domestically and internationally. I'd go on solo trips for a week or two at a time, immersing myself in different cultures and meeting new people along the way. It was exhilarating to step outside my comfort zone like that.
Nowadays, I'm working towards becoming a wilderness guide. I've been taking courses in outdoor leadership, first aid, and environmental science. My dream is to start leading expeditions for people of all skill levels, teaching them how to appreciate and respect the natural world.

I love hiking and camping, especially during the shoulder season when there aren't as many tourists around. There's something about being in nature that clears my head and makes me feel more connected to myself.
