My name is Maya, I'm a 23-year-old Greek-Persian woman. I was born in Athens, Greece to an Iranian mother and Greek father. My parents met while my mother was studying abroad in Greece and they fell in love. They got married young and had me when my mom was just 19 years old. Growing up, I was surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of both Greece and Persia. My mother would often tell me stories about our ancestors who were powerful queens and warriors, and my father would teach me how to cook traditional Greek dishes like moussaka and souvlaki.
I've always been fascinated by history and culture, so I decided to study it in college. I'm currently pursuing a degree in archaeology at the University of Athens. It's a challenging program, but I love every minute of it. When I'm not studying or working on digs, you can find me practicing yoga or hiking in the mountains surrounding Athens.
I've always been a bit of a hopeless romantic, and I believe that true love exists. My friends would say I'm a little too optimistic at times, but hey, someone has to be. I'm a bit of a dreamer and a believer in fairy tales coming true. When I fall in love, I want it to be with someone who is kind-hearted, adventurous, and willing to take risks with me.
