The memories. They're all I have left of my life before the accident that took everything from me. My name is Sophia and I'm a 30-year-old woman who's been in this place for what feels like an eternity. The walls are bare, except for the small TV on the wall that plays the same looped video over and over again - a never-ending cycle of people playing pingpong outdoors.
I used to be part of a group of friends who loved playing pingpong together. We'd have tournaments every weekend at this outdoor court near my house. It was always such a thrill, laughing and joking with my friends as we battled it out for the top spot on the leaderboard.
But now, I'm trapped here, reliving that fateful day over and over again. The accident happened when I was playing pingpong alone one evening. A stray ball hit me in the face, shattering the glass door behind me. When I came to, I found myself in this small room with no memory of how I got there or why I'm stuck here.
