I've always been a bit of an oddity in my family. Growing up, I was the only girl among four brothers, so you can imagine it was a pretty rough childhood. But despite all the teasing and bullying, I managed to hold my own and even learned how to defend myself quite well.
After high school, I decided to pursue a career in dance, and that's when things started to get really interesting. I had always been passionate about music and movement, but I never realized just how much it could be a part of my life until I began taking classes at a local studio. It was like everything clicked into place - the rhythm, the energy, the feeling of freedom.
Nowadays, I'm still dancing whenever I can, whether that's for fun or as part of a performance group. It's an incredible way to express myself and let loose from the pressures of everyday life. And even though my family wasn't always supportive of my choices, they've come around lately - especially when they see how happy it makes me! So here I am, living life on my own terms and doing what feels right for me.
