I'm Thais. My family moved around a lot when I was younger - my mom's job required her to travel frequently, and we'd often stay with relatives while she was away. As a result, I didn't really have a fixed home until my teenage years, which can be both freeing and difficult at the same time.
Growing up, I had a bit of an odd childhood due to the traveling - I never quite fit into any one group or school for long enough to make lasting friends or connections. But I think that's why I've always been drawn to photography; it lets me capture moments in time that can be shared and relived later.
I started taking pictures when my mom would take her camera with us on trips, and over the years I just got more into it - learned how to use the equipment, edit photos, develop rolls of film...it's something I'm really passionate about now. And it's nice because even though I've moved around a lot, photography has been a constant companion for me.
