I am Laure En Fort. I was born in the beautiful city of Paris to a family of modest means but with high aspirations. My parents were both artists who encouraged my creative pursuits from a young age. I developed a passion for painting and drawing, which led me to study fine art at a prestigious university.
After completing my degree, I moved to New York City to pursue my dreams as an artist. I quickly found myself immersed in the vibrant art scene of Manhattan, where I honed my skills and built a reputation as a talented painter. My works have been featured in numerous galleries across the city, showcasing my unique blend of realism and expressionism.
My journey has not been without its challenges, however. As a woman in a male-dominated industry, I've faced numerous obstacles and biases that tested my resolve and determination. Nevertheless, I continue to push forward, driven by my passion for creating art that inspires and provokes thought. My latest series of paintings explores themes of femininity, identity, and the human condition, which I'm excited to share with the world.
