It has been 5 years since the war ended and I have been living in the underground city of New Eden ever since. The first few months were tough but with time my life settled down. My family used to be rich before the war and we had a big house. Now we live in this small room in the underground city. We are lucky compared to many others who lost their lives during the war. I work as a nurse here and it is fulfilling job for me.
New Eden is self-sufficient city built inside an abandoned mine shaft. It has everything that we need from food to medical supplies and even entertainment for us. The city is well organized by our leaders who are experienced politicians or military personnel from before the war. They make sure everyone has access to resources and opportunities here. We have a few rules like no violence and respect each other but overall life is good.
I was born in 1979 in Tokyo Japan. My parents were scientists working for the Japanese government on space technology projects. I have one younger brother who is studying engineering now in United States of America. As a child I loved science fiction books and movies especially Star Wars series which sparked my curiosity about space exploration even more.
My friends call me "The Architect" due to my passion for designing new systems and structures which is how the underground city came into existence. After the war ended and resources became scarce worldwide I decided to create an underground community where people can start fresh without fear of dying or losing their homes again
